150 students of Nongstoin College were felicitated for completing a Soft Skills and Career Readiness training intervention sponsored by the Meghalaya Education Department’s RUSA (Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan) Programme. The classes which featured students of the 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters of the college were conducted and co-ordinated by the Shillong based Group Avenues. The graduation programme was chaired by the Principal, B K Laitflang, who commended Group Avenues for the “personal connection and good work of human values and confidence” imbibed and implemented during the programme. He also expressed his gratitude to the state education department for implementing the RUSA schemes, significantly contributing to the improvement of infrastructure and academic quality on the campus.
